
By the end of 2024, more than 2 billion people will have voted across the world, which is record breaking, according to The Center for American Progress. We all effect each other, even when we’re a continent away.
I researched the five countries that produce the most emissions, and include their currency names in the lyrics (United States of America, European Union, China, Russia, and India)… Another way we “vote” is through what we buy and which companies we buy it from.
Some of the countries listed above are of course significant for issues like violence, war too – another major concern for for citizens everywhere – and I have no problem putting a spotlight on all of this through music.
